Direct answer: Power Save Mode cuts battery use when the gate is running on battery or solar-only power. Eagle says the Diamond DC board goes to sleep after about 30 seconds without activity.
A command from the receiver, reset button, on-board controls, or exit loop can wake the board. Eagle also provides a 24 VDC accessory output that lowers its draw during Power Save Mode.
